Hi, Is it possible to increase the people in area count by using an input in CCure instead of a access card swipe at a reader. For example if a car park has an intercom and an output from this intercom serves as the RTE input for the car park barrier can this still be used to increase the area count by 1 if the intercom is used to open the barrier.

no only way to increase Area counts is by valid card swipes where the person is actually supposed to move between Areas.
Second Option is to manually set the Personal Count under Set Properties of the Area. The Personal Count is the count what the panel uses and might be different from the Count provided by Display Personnel in Area.
